Torc Dancers

Torc Traditional Irish Dance Group is an exciting group of young Irish Traditional Dancers from the Killarney Area in South West Ireland. Grown up together and having developed their skills and art through dance competitions, and performances at festivals, corporate events and cabaret. They have a professional and hard work ethic and its members have performed both individually and as a group in various corners of the globe.

The group has members fully qualified Irish Dancing Teachers registered with ‘An Coimisiún Na Rinci Gaeilge’ (TCRG). Also Munster, All-Ireland & World champions, with approximately 20 titles in total within the group.Toured the world dancing as Principal Dancer and Dance captain for Irish dance shows such as ‘Celtic Life’, ‘Celtic Storm’, ‘Dance of Desire’, ‘To Dance on the Moon’, ‘Rhythm of the Dance’ and ‘Riverdance’ to name but a few. The age span in the group ranges from 5-35 years old. Therefore they cater for all types of audiences, whether it is a corporate event or a flash mob on the street.
Over the years the group have danced in France, Cornwall and Germany and are a regular feature in the top Hotels around Co. Kerry: ‘Hotel Europe’, ‘Aghadoe Heights Hotel’, ‘The Lake Hotel’, ‘The Brehon Hotel’ ‘The Ballyseede Hotel’, ‘Sheen Falls’ and the ‘Kenmare Park Hotel’ to name but a few. They have also, for the summer seasons, danced for shows 'Celtic Steps', ‘Fine Girl Ye Are’ in the Gleneagle Hotel, featuring the band known as The Kilkenny’s (a tribute show to the The Clancy’s).
Torc Traditional Irish Dance Group is available for Corporate Events, Weddings, Functions, Festivals and Workshops and work equally well with their regular live band of Irish traditional Musicians
